JSC "Kompozit" Review of the "Radioelectronics and Instrumentation" Exhibition

JSC "Kompozit" is the leading research and development organization for the domestic rocket and space industry in the field of materials science. The company conducts research and development on materials, and manufactures and supplies materials — both in series and in small batches — to enterprises within the rocket and space sector.

JSC "Kompozit" has participated in the "Radioelectronics and Instrumentation" (RADEL) exhibition for the fifth consecutive year, starting in 2022. At this event, the company showcases its own specialized chemical products, including adhesives, sealants, and compounds designed for specific applications, such as:

• thermally and electrically conductive materials;
• electrically conductive adhesives (as alternatives to soldering);
• transparent and opaque potting compounds;
• non-shrinking, low-viscosity, and impregnating compounds;
• high-temperature adhesives, etc.

These products are utilized across a wide range of industrial sectors, extending well beyond the rocket and space industry.

Given this, JSC "Kompozit" participates in the "Radioelectronics and Instrumentation" exhibition with the goal of expanding its customer base and staying informed about the current needs of the market regarding specialized chemical products.

It is worth noting that the exhibition has a distinct regional focus: at least two-thirds of the interested visitors represent enterprises based in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. Every year, new companies — including local ones — approach us with proposals to utilize specialized chemical products from JSC "Kompozit" to address specific production challenges. These needs often arise from the development of new technologies, increasingly stringent requirements for existing products, or the drive toward import substitution. Consequently, for the past five years, every September, JSC "Kompozit" has had the opportunity to introduce its developments to new potential customers, primarily from the Northwestern region; in fact, shipments of certain products have already been delivered as a result.

JSC "Kompozit" views its participation in this event very positively. The organization of the event — from the initial preparation stages through to its execution — was excellent. The organizer, Farexpo LLC, held the exhibition at a modern, professional venue in St. Petersburg: the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre. Farexpo LLC also arranged convenient accommodation for participants and visitors at the Park Inn by Radisson Pulkovskaya (near the Moskovskaya metro station), offering special rates for the duration of the exhibition, as well as a complimentary shuttle service between the Moskovskaya metro station and the Expoforum venue. The exhibition is distinguished by its business-like, substantive atmosphere — free from unnecessary "pomp and fanfare" — and any issues that arise are addressed promptly and efficiently.

JSC "Kompozit" intends to include participation in "Radel 2027" in its future plans, with the hope that the organizers will keep the event scheduled for its original timeframe.
