18th International Specialized Exhibition Electronics and Instrumentation RADEL - Triumph in the New Venue

From 18 to 20 September 2018, the 18th International Specialized Exhibition ELECTRONICS AND INSTRUMENTATION (RADEL) was held in St. Petersburg at the Expoforum Exhibition and Convention Center. The total exhibition area was 3960 sq.m. More than 100 companies from 10 countries of the world took part. Organizer – FAREXPO.

For the first time in Russia, RADEL was held in conjunction with the international exhibition company Messe München GmbH, the organizer of the largest world exhibition of electronics, equipment, components, and technologies for the production of electronics Productronica. Using the resources of the global network Messe Munchen, which has more than 70 foreign representative offices and a network of branches in Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America, information about the exhibition is distributed in many countries around the world.

Despite the move to the new Expoforum site, the organizers managed to increase the number of visitors to the exhibition by 20%. Many participants noted the high quality of visitors, including top executives, engineers, developers, designers. Representatives managed to hold even more productive meetings with target groups, conclude contracts on favorable terms, make purchases, establish new contacts with domestic and foreign representatives of leading companies in the market. The absolute majority of companies appreciated the relocation of the exhibition to the Expoforum Exhibition and Convention Center, which has the most up-to-date exhibition infrastructure.

Companies from Russia, Belarus, USA, Finland, China, England, Germany, and other countries took part in the exhibition. Traditionally, such products were presented by such well-known companies as Keysight Technologies, Rohde & Schwarz, Tecoo Electronics Co., Ltd, Klever Electronics, PROSOFT, PROCHIP, Global Engineering, AVIV Group, CERTEC, PROTON, Sovtest ATE, MNIPI, Millab, and many others. For the first time, TESON, Transfer Multisort Elektronik, OKB Mel, Uran, Kontaktmodul, Tomsk State University took part in the exhibition RADEL. Many participants presented the latest developments and innovations that were appreciated by experts.

The programme, reinforced by the presentations of the highest-class Western speakers, included seminars on current industry topics, in particular, such issues as:

  • a new generation of semiconductor products, integrated circuits, including for receiving and transmitting equipment;
  • laser soldering and other innovative technologies for the production of microelectronics;
  • new software for designing and modeling RF/microwave devices;
  • organization in the field of small-scale electronics production, promising development of secondary power sources;
  • new semiconductor components from domestic and foreign manufacturers and others.

For the first time in Russia, a report on the market for printed circuit boards was made by the world-famous expert in the field of printed circuit boards - Dr. Hayao Nakahara.

The RADEL exhibition confirmed its status as an effective business platform for demonstrating new technologies and solutions from Russian and foreign companies, establishing direct business contacts, and entering into contracts with leading manufacturers of the market.

In 2019, the exhibition RADEL will be held on September 17-19 at the CEC “EXPOFORUM” in pavilion H.
